Our Journey

Dare-to-Care (D2C) Center was established in May 2018 at Village Hullar Syeddan, Bagh, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan, with a simple but powerful vision: to provide children with special needs an opportunity to learn, develop their abilities, and participate meaningfully in society. Since inception we provided basic education & skills to more than 70-Differnetaly abeled children of the surrounding catchment areas.

What began as a community-driven initiative has gradually evolved into a recognized centre for inclusive education, vocational training, rehabilitation, and empowerment. D2C is registered with AJK- Private Educational Insitutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) and affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad, and currently provides services through its Hearing & Speech Impairment, Intellectual Disability, and Vocational Training Sections.

A landmark achievement came in 2026, when six students of the Hearing & Speech Impairment Section successfully passed the FBISE SSC-II examination in First Division—a historic milestone for special education in the Poonch Division AJK. This achievement reflects the dedication of the students, parents, teachers, community supporters, and the D2C team.

With strong community support and a expected collaboration with partners, D2C is now looking ahead to a new phase of development—expanding enrolment, strengthening therapy and vocational services, developing purpose-built facilities, and creating pathways towards skills, employment, entrepreneurship, and greater independence for children with special needs.

From a small beginning in 2018 to a growing centre of opportunity and hope, Dare-to-Care continues to believe that every child has potential—and deserves the opportunity to realize it.
